If you didn't attend Flow And Flourish, 2026, here's all the tea you need to know.
Flow And Flourish was everything we planned for it to be and more.
It was hosted by Femme Avenue and Alchemy of Her on the 21st of March, 2026 by 4PM at Rebirth Era, 160 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi.
In a world that's constantly demanding our attention and energy, it's easy to forget to prioritize ourselves.
We often put others first, sacrificing our own well-being and happiness. But the truth is, when we take care of ourselves, we unlock a better, more confident version of us.
We shared, we connected and we allowed ourselves to feel. Truly and wholly.
Miss Darlene Clarke-okah, the founder of Femme Avenue and Alchemy of Her, gave a welcome speech to the participants, encouraging them to enjoy the experience of Flow And Flourish.
We started off with the introductions and what it means to flourish this year. We had conversation starters that broke the ice.
Small talk that ignited the beginning of meaningful relationships with like-minded women.
The fruit tray was passed around and our participants enjoyed the fresh fruits we had for them, including a special mayo dip (Darlene's recipe) for the carrots and cucumbers.
Then, we had the sip and paint session, allowing our participants to express themselves through art while enjoying our homemade fruit punch (another Darlene special ðŸ¤).
While the painting was going on, Miss Darlene gave a talk titled, "Flowing Without Burning". It touched on giving your best in life without losing yourself in the process. She highlighted ways to live soft and free as a woman, taking one step at a time.
Everyone shared their own experiences with burn out and excessive stress over things they can't really control. In the end, we all agreed that, soft life is the way to go.
Also, we talked about female friendships and support from other women. It was a conversation that really opened our eyes to realise how a lot of other women do not support the dreams of their fellow women and how they can be hostile, especially in workspaces to female staff.
One of the participants highlighted that society even sometimes pitches women against themselves in some sort of competition. We made a mental note to ourselves to constantly lift other women up. To be a girl's girl 💕
We had Signature Snacks Global, Girly Essentials, Dear Yetunde Studio and Oleander life as the vendors for our event. They all spoke on why they started their brand and the impact they hope to achieve moving forward.
As the event wrapped up, we had a lovely dinner of Chinese fried rice and Braised chicken with carrots and we learned a thing or two about Martial Arts from the CEO of Rebirth Era and 4x MMA National Champion, Jibrin Inuwa Baba.
He taught us a special technique to stand your ground and spread your weight on one leg if you're ever attacked in public. That simple move gives you seconds to call for help before the perpetrator can pull you away.
To wrap up, we had shopping time where our participants got to shop from the vendor stands and content with their brands. It was so beautiful to see.
Discussions flowed easily and laughter rippled across the room. You just had to be there.
Finally, we had a group picture with the participants and the CEO of Femme Avenue.
It was an intimate and intentional experience. All the attendees left the event feeling better than when they arrived. Flow And Flourish had done it's job 😌🌸
