5 Tips To Help You Manage Stress In 2026, plus a special Bonus Tip image 1

You'd be surprised how stress affects your sleep and mental health. It can even go as far as giving you high blood pressure or a subsequent stroke. Definitely, nobody wants that.

Between constant notifications, work pressure, side hustles, social expectations and trying to somehow still have a life, it can feel like your brain has 47 tabs open… and at least 10 are playing music you can't find.

Next thing, you find yourself feeling weak, exhausted and down. Stress begins to kick in.

You'd be surprised how stress affects your sleep and mental health. It can even go as far as giving you high blood pressure or a subsequent stroke. Definitely, nobody wants that.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just plain tired, you're not alone.

And hey, you don't have to stay stuck in that feeling.

Last week, one of our community members said: "I woke up already tired. I hadn't even started my day yet, but my mind was racing through emails, deadlines, and everything I HADN'T done."

Sound familiar?

Stress doesn't always come from one big thing. It can be the small, constant pressure that quietly builds up.

Life in 2026 is a lot, here's how to slow down without losing yourself.

1. Do a brain dump before bed Write down everything on your mind; tasks, worries, random thoughts. It helps your brain rest instead of trying to remember everything.

2. Create no-notification windows Sort of like putting your life on DND (Do Not Disturb). Even 30 minutes without alerts can calm your nervous system more than you think.

3. Breathe… (properly) Have you ever tried to slow down and realise that you've been holding your breath? Try this: inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4, exhale for 6. Do it 5 times. It's simple, but powerful.

4. Lower the bar (yes, really) Not every day needs to be extra productive. Some days, "I showed up" is more than enough. Do things that make you happy, even if they aren't "productive".

5. Talk to someone Stress grows in silence. Saying things out loud can instantly make them feel lighter. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
